2010 World Cup in South Africa

The South Africa World Cup preparations on the right track! The 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee met this week and announced that all stadiums Point are on schedule and outstanding disputes regarding a new stadium in Cape Town at the Green have been resolved. Concerns that the World Cup venues in Durban and Cape Town over running the household budget may have been approached to also come with all stages now in. All the 2010 World CupStages are set from 31 October 2009 have been completed.

It was also announced that Durban Cup play host to the 2010 World Cup qualifying draw. This will take place at Durban's International Convention Centre on 23 November 2007. Preparations for the first World Cup on the African continent are already in full swing, despite the recent World Cup less than a year ago. The qualifying draw will be the official start of the Tournament and live in over 200 countries.

It has been said that South Africa will continue with preparations Cup, when Germany was on the same stage before the last World. There were rumors that Australia would take on the role as host of the World Cup. Sepp Blatter, FIFA President, dismissed the rumors. He assured that the world is this speculation was wrong and the tournament would remain in South Africa.

The 2010> World Cup 11th run from June to 11 July. 13 European nations, will compete in five Asian and Oceania teams and a total of eight qualifiers for the American continent the tournament. Hosts South Africa qualify automatic. Take their place alongside five other African states.

9 cities will host the Games. Johannesburg, which will have two venues, will stage matches with Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, Polokwane and Rustenburg.
