The 2010 World Cup is still some time off, qualifying campaigns have not yet started, but now as good as any one time to get the ball rolling and start predicting the eventual winner in South Africa?

For the first time ever, the world's leading sports event will be hosted on the African continent. This will bring a different culture to the forefront of everyone's consciousness, although the tournament itself will take in Africa's richest economy.

IsIs there a home advantage? Does this mean that the emerging countries of Africa better in recent World Cups have been fair as tipped by size, but always seemed to fall short? Or will one of the usual Gang of Five Nations Trophy, that the lifts be back? Among the usual suspects, there will be no surprise to see, in Brazil or Argentina - the giants of South American football.

From Europe, we need look no further than the current champions Italy, the perennial tournamentExperts Germany, and the flair of France. Or do we want? Will England finally rid of too press it crashing? And under the guidance of Italian Fabio Capello, it will finally reach their dream land after 44 years, which is the sole World Cup success? Can Underachiever Spain fellow come together and once they meet a concerted usually the talent bring to every World Cup?

Following these teams there is also aNumber of possible winners. If given a run of luck which require each country during the tournament dark horse Croatia are always technically gifted. Sweden, Norway and Russia firmly. Holland is full of talent. Greece and Turkey have come a long way, respectively. In truth, it is difficult to assess the result, but my head still says to me, it is one of the usual five. My heart on the other hand, hopes it will be England.
